The Fylde Coast Responsible Business Network (RBN) is a group of businesses committed to supporting our local community. The network has been created, and is supported, by the Blackpool Pride of Place Partnership, a flagship initiative of Business in the Community, the UK’s largest and longest-established responsible business network, championing sustainability, inclusion, and growth that benefits both business and society.
Our mission is to inspire and engage business to become more responsible, and drive resource and energy towards challenges and projects that will have the most impact for our communities
We are already making a difference and have created a thriving network of local businesses to share insight, expertise and knowledge of how we can best support the community and our key campaigns. We want you to be a part of it.

About Us
The Fylde Coast RBN is led by Project Manager, Michelle Walker and Project Officer, Matthew Allen.
Both Michelle and Matthew are passionate about supporting initiatives across the Fylde Coast and fully believe in the difference that members of the RBN make to our to our community. Both Michelle and Matthew would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about how you can get involved and find out more about the socially responsible work you’re already involved in.
Our Steering Group consists of a number of local businesses including: Victrex, Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, Napthens, Blue CDM, Choice Hotels, Blackpool Transport and UpBeat Rock Academy.

September's Fylde Coast RBN Network Meeting

With almost 1 in 8 young people now NEET across the UK, and higher concentrations in coastal towns like Blackpool, this is a growing challenge with real implications for our local economy and communities. Recent national reporting has even warned of a potential “lost generation” if action isn’t taken.
Our keynote speaker for this event will be Alun Francis OBE, Chief Executive of Blackpool and The Fylde College and Chair of the Social Mobility Commission.
