BITC team support International Women’s Day 2022

The Fylde Coast Responsible Business Network and Blackpool Pride of Place team are very proud to support #BreakTheBias. Together, we can all break the bias on International Women’s Day (IWD) and beyond. 

On Saturday 5th March 2022 ‘The Washington Group’ will host a Young Women’s summit at Blackpool Sixth Form College. The summit will bring together young women, key decision makers and stakeholders with a goal to agree the key objectives of a Fylde Coast Young Women’s 5-year strategy.

The strategy will be adopted by a community of young women, schools and business to drive this forward.

The RBN has helped to bring in businesses across the Fylde Coast to take part in the World Café, a zone created for young women to share their ideas and speak to organisations for various sectors. This area will enable young women to learn more about the work that is happening on the Fylde Coast, from future business and investment plans to current community projects and opportunities available to young women.
