Early works to build a new road at Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone Eastern Gateway are progressing well.
New drone footage shows the shape of the new road that connects Common Edge Road and the business park at Amy Johnson Way.
Recent work includes stripping the land, installing new drainage and the demolition of a house at the corner of School Road and Common Edge.
George Cox & Sons is the main contractor for the works.
The work continues to take place while maintaining two-way traffic through the site. Work over the next month will involve creating an additional traffic lane on Common Edge Road so that traffic flow can be maintained while work continue to divert utilities.
The road will allow the construction of new business units, bringing additional quality jobs to the Fylde coast.
